Frequently Asked Questions
What’s included in my Intermittent Fit subscription?
With your membership, you’ll get an email every morning containing the randomized Intermittent Fit challenges for the day. AND we will send you quarterly Intermittent Fit merch as long as your a member
What do the daily emails look like?
Everyday’s email will specify which body parts to challenge on that given day, what specific rep range to use, and give you an example workout. We present all this to you in a fun, AI generated image that is unique to each day. Scroll down to see a few examples!
Is Intermittent Fit only for people that want to workout like their ancestors did?
No. In fact, Intermittent Fit was also born out of a very common modern situation; One might say to themselves, “Maybe I’ll go to the gym and exercise today.” Then one might have another thought in response, “Even if I do find the time and make it to the gym today, what would I do there? I’ll just skip working out today” Instead of using a general lack of workout guidance as an excuse to not attend the gym and therefore not exercise, enter Intermittent Fit. As an IF member, anytime you find time to workout exercise guidance is no further than your email inbox. You can use the category of the day for inspiration and build your own routines or stick the example workout each day. Don’t skip your workout because you don’t know what to do that day or don’t have a routine established – Let Intermittent Fitness provide the programming guidance you need, whenever you need it.
When are the rest days? When are the workout days? Whats the split?
You are in charge of taking days off or not. We do not prescribe rest days at Intermittent Fit, we want you to take rest days when you feel like you need them. We believe it is paramount for general health to listen to how your body feels on a day to day basis. We recommend NOT doing a workout if you’re not feeling it that day. By taking rest days, you’re not going to fall behind in any prescribed progression or miss anything by taking a day (or days) off. It’s okay to skip a day because there will be another workout in your email inbox tomorrow – See how you feel then. Of course you COULD do our workouts each day, thats your choice.
What about over-training? Random workouts might lead me to over work my body wont it?
Yes, we agree that if anyone, does anything, too often it can lead to bodily injury. We also believe it can be possible to exercise the same body parts on back-to-back days; especially if you train them in different ways and with vastly different repetition ranges. I.e. with different exercises, different modalities, different volumes, different challenges for the same muscle groups on back to back days does not necessarily oppose a problem for the human body. Further, you are always encouraged to take a rest day rather than risk overtraining.
Will Intermittent Fit give me a six pack and perky booty and a rockin’ beach body? ?
Will Intermittent Fit give me a six pack and perky booty and a rockin’ beach body? ?
Probably not. We aim for longevity and mental health through physical activity. Physical activity that is carried out on on most days. We are not really programming to make you look good naked, we are programming to mimic random demands of the life we all evolved to live. Plus, six packs are made in the kitchen, not the gym.
Can I cancel my Intermittent Fit subscription at any time?
Absolutely! We understand that life can be unpredictable, so you’re free to cancel your Intermittent Fit subscription at any time. There are no long-term commitments or hidden fees. The program is designed to be flexible and customized by YOU.
Are there any Intermittent Fit facilities that I can workout at?
Not yet but one day we hope to open unique intermittent fit gyms. We envision a large open space (maybe turf) with various objects, machines, and exercise equipment. Any member will be welcome to perform intermittent fitness activities of any kind. Imagine an open turf field surrounded by exercise equipment – or a wide open warehouse space containing random exercise equipment and other dusty things to lift, throw, push and pull.
What if I get hurt doing an Intermittent Fit challenge?
By joining, all members agree to indemnify and hold harmless Intermittent Fit inc. and its Trainer(s) for any injuries, illnesses, and the like experienced as the result of the training sessions.
